| Painting dated 1460 with a large figure of a nimbed and tonsured Bernard in black cowl with an open book in his right hand and a crozier in his left with a group of smaller figures on each side - Xanten canons on the left and a community of Cistercian monks from Kamp behind their abbot on the right. The painting celebrates the bond of fraternity between the two groups. |
