Description
Single folio from a twelfth- century manuscript. Standing frontal figure of nimbed, tonsured, and bearded Bernard in what appears to be a chasuble, carrying staff wiith circular top (not crozier) in right hand, and object (book?) in left. In red letters 'Incipit vita s. nardi monach' indicates that it is from a Life of Bernard.
