A large thirteenth-century Antiphonary from an Italian Cistercian abbey in the neighbourhood of Emilia with a bearded and nimbed Bernard in a white cowl standing with both hands outstretched and the right hand pointing to a group of seven monks within the initial 'P(rima virtus viri sancti)' against a blue background.
