Description:
Bernard? Fresco of half-figures of four saints painted at the end of the fourteenth century in the second niche on the left in the church of St Giovenale, Orvieto. From left a saint with a long beard and in a white cowl with a book in the left hand and a rosary in the right (St Benedict or Bernard), John the Baptist holding a dish enclosing the Lamb of God and an inscription with John 1:29, a mitred bishop-saint with a crozier, and Lawrence in a dalmatic and carrying the gridiron.
