Description:
Painting copied from the Sienese painter Bernardino Pintoricchio on the front of a book bound in leather. The Virgin in the sky with the kneeling nimbed figures of Gregory on the left and Bernard on the right are featured within a Gothic arch. Bernard is in a white cowl, his hands folded in prayer and his crozier leaning on his left shoulder. A tiara is at the feet of Gregory and a mitre at Bernard's. The scene behind the figures is a wooded landscape.
