Description:
Bernard? A painted poplar book board dated 1367 with a Trinity Mercy Seat flanked by two saints on each side, St Lucia (?) and a monk-saint in a white cowl carrying a book on the left, and St Nicolas of Bari and St Philip (or St Andrew) on the right. Below are five coats of arms and an inscription. The monk-saint may be Bernard, but, being Italian, could equally well be St Benedict or St Romuald.
