From the main altarpiece from Santes Creus with a statue of the Virgin in the centre, Bernard on the right, and St Benedict on the left, by Taller de Padro Sanglada c 1420. Bernard is in a cowl painted white, carries crozier with sudarium in his right hand and a red book in his left. His halo consists of a thin gold ring behind his head. On the left St Benedict is depicted in the same way, but in a black cowl. Bernard is also shown as one of many saints on the predella (see PA028).
