Description:
A painted wooden statue carved in oak from c 1525 from the former Cistercian Nuns' Church, Roermond, now the Munsterkerk, founded in 1218 by Count Gerhard III of Geldern. He carries a crozier with hanging sudarium in his right hand and a book in his left.The left hand and book are from the nineteeth century.
