Description:
Bernard? Although supposedly part of the altarpiece of the Cistercian abbey of Theuley, this wooden statue from the second half of the fifteenth century of a figure wearing a tall mitre and a cloak over a tunic with a cord belt with a crozier in the right hand (now missing) and a book in a bag in the left does not look like an image of Bernard.
