Description:
This polychrome reliquary statue is in two parts. Only the head is from the first half of the fourteenth century, the body being from around 1600. This explains the difference in scale, the head being too big. The later part contained a relic of St Bernard's clothing. The crozier is in gilt copper and is also a later addition.
