Description:
Trifoliate boss from c 1465 with a bust of a nimbed Bernard in a black cowl and carrying a crozier in the left hand and a book in the right. One of four bosses with saints in the northern aisle. The others were Sts Ulrich, bishop of Augsburg with crozier, book, and fish; Peter with keys and book; and Eligius, patron of goldsmiths, with hammer and chalice.
