Description:
One of six scenes from the life of Bernard flanking the central figure of Bernard in a Florentine altarpiece from c 1430. Bernard's funeral is depicted with one monk in a red cope and reading from a red book officiating and in the company of five other monks, one of them carrying a processional cross. See also PA 114-9.
