Description:
One of six scenes from the life of Bernard flanking the central figure of Bernard in a Florentine altarpiece from c 1430. The nimbed figure of Bernard in a white cowl with the hood over his head stands in a wooden pulpit and blesses the infant William de Montmirail held in his mother's arms.
