Description:
Triptych of the Annunciation painted by the Master of the legend of St Ursula. The central scene of the Annunciation is flanked by Saints Jerome, Francis, Bernardino, and Anthony Abbot on the left wing and John the Baptist, Benedict, Michael, and Christopher on the right wing. The reverse is in grisaille and has St Paul on the left and Bernard on the right. Bernard holds a processional cross in his right hand the end of which is pressed down on the head of a small devil on which Bernard is trampling.
