Painting dated 1489 probably from an altarpiece from an Olivetan monastery as indicated by the figure of St Benedict in a white cowl, bottom left. The Virgin enthroned with the Child standing and flanked by four saints, Laurence and Christopher above, and an elderly bearded Benedict and a youthful Bernard below.
