Description:
One of the four lateral scenes (top right hand) from the altarpiece from the Templars' Church in Palma painted 1290. This is a very traditional Bernard scene, that of Bernard sitting and writing. He holds a pen in his right hand while his knife is contained in a container at the side. He is wearing a white cowl with the hood over his head, seated in a dark impressionistic mountainous landscape with two trees. See also PA011 for the central picture and PA012, PA013 & PA015 for the other lateral scenes.
