| A Book of Hours (Use of Tours) from c 1490 has a miniature next to the Latin text of the Verses of Bernard introduced above in red as 'Les VII vers saint bernard'. A nimbed three-quarter figure of Bernard without either crozier or book has his hands folded in prayer. He is wearing a strange brown tunic with scapular and cape above and without any belt. He has a 'tuft'. |
