Description:
A small 7-line miniature in the Hours of Isabella of Aragon introduces the 8 verses of Bernard - in red above the miniature: 'octo versiculi bti bernardi'. He stands, nimbed and in a white cowl, in a church trampling on the devil lying on the tiled floor under his feet. He has an open book in his right hand and a golden crozier in his left. Behind is an altar with a gold reredos and a blue frontal.
