Description:
A fifteenth-century 'Miscellanea latina' of various saints contains a pseudo-Bernard treatise entitled 'De violentia sive gradibus caritatis'. A bust of a bearded Bernard in a black cowl with his hood over his head and carrying a curious fork-like crozier in his right hand and a red book in his left hand is within the opening initial V(ulneratus).
