Book of Hours, use of Rome, in Latin and French from Burgundy (the calendar includes saints venerated in Burgundy - St Didier, bishop of Langres, St Mammes, patron of Langres - and St Benigne is uncluded among the suffrages) with the Seven Verses of Bernard (ff 187-8v) introduced with small miniature of a half- figure of Bernard, nimbed and bearded, and holding a small devil on a leash with his right hand and an open psalter turned outwards in his left hand. His white cowl is strange in that it has no hood but a red collar and red sleeves appear under his cowl. In the background are two mountains with castles on top.
