Description:
A late fifteenth-century Book of Hours (Use of Autun) has a full-page miniature of Bernard in a white tunic and black scapular holding a chain with both hands and attached to a large brown devil at his feet. In an open room surrounded by columns through which a landscape appears. The opposite folio (f 140r) has the text of the Seven Verses of Bernard in French.
