Description:
Thirteenth-century composite manuscript containing super 'Missus est' (f3-13v), 'Lamentatio St B super passione Xi' (f16v-18), and 'Tractatus de revelatione facta Beato Bernardo a beata Virgine super dolore quem sensit in passione filii sui' (Treatise on the holy revelation to the Blessed Bernard from the Blessed Virgin on the pain which she feels in the Passion of her Son) (f18-20). At the opening of the pseudo-Bernard treatise on the Passion a nimbed and bearded Bernard kneels with hands clasped in prayer before an altar. His crozier is behind him. The half-figure of Christ comes out of a cloud above and shows the wounds in his side and in his hands. The background is blue decorated with white diagonal lines and small red squares at the intersections. See also MA343 & MA346.
