Description:
Manuscript on paper from c 1400 with prayers in German and 120 pictures which is known as the 'Gebetbuch der Ursula Begersin' as it is known to have belonged to a nun in St Maria Magdalena in Strassburg in c 1530. On the left a bearded Benedict in black with a book and a crozier, in the middle Jerome wearing a cardinal's hat, carrying a book, and standing on a lion, and on the right a bearded Bernard in a greyish cowl with a book in his right hand and a crozier in his left.
