Description:
One of five images of Bernard in a French version of the Golden Legend from c 1500 made for Jane of Burgundy, daughter of Robert, 2nd duke of Burgundy. Bernard stands on the left with his crozier leaning on his left shoulder and his right hand pointing at a group of five saints, three at the front who are identified as Anthony Abbot in a black habit and with a long beard and a stick, George with a sword and a dragon at his feet, and Katherine with a sword.
