Description:
Book of Hours from Paris dated the end of the fifteenth century has a miniature of Bernard sitting writing at a desk. He is nimbed and wearing white tunic and black scapular. The miniature is adjacent to the opening of the Seven Verses i(llumina), and as the folio appears to be torn, it is likely that he had been confronted by the devil who is now missing.
