Description:
A short universal chronicle from the Creation to the last event mentioned in 1245 (death of Walter Marshall). Attributed to Peter of Poitiers, the main source as far as f 9v. Perhaps written at the Benedictine abbey of Glastonbury in which the writer of the text was particularly interested. Among the smaller figures is half-length drawing of a bearded Bernard with his hood over his head and carrying a simple crozier.
