Miniature in a Universal Chronicle in French up to 1220 shows Bernard preaching the crusade to Louis VII at Vezelay in 1146. A standing Bernard, in a grey cowl with a blue crozier with red volute leaning on his left shoulder, has his hands raised to the seated king wearing a red crown, red dress with a blue mantle over.The border is decorated with blue and rosa.
