Miniature in a French manuscript of 'Le Calendrier des Bergers' dated 1486 (?) a nimbed figure sits at a desk writing with a pen in his right hand and a knife in his left. He is in a rosa cowl with a black upper half, the hood of which is over his head. The previous folio has the text 'selon la doctrine saint Bernard et comment on si doit gouverner'.
