Description:
One of two illustrations to Canto 33 out of 148 miniatures in the lower border of a manuscript from the third quarter of the fourteenth century probably from southern Italy. Bernard stands on the far left with his hands outstretched in presenting the kneeling Dante to the three-faced Trinity seated within concemtric, radiating bands. The rest of the picture is made up of stars and floating angels. There is also an illustration to Canto 32. See also MA 277 & MA278.
