This illuminated manuscript of the Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso in Italian has just one miniature featuring Bernard. Naked, and oly identified by the halo, he turns to Dante behind him to whom he shows the Virgin in the sky. Below her four souls (ie naked figures) are seated. This manuscript has served as a model for Florence MS Laur. Plut.XL, 1, f 325v (see MA386).
