Description:
A Book of Hours in Dutch from the third quarter of the fifteenth century has a crowned Virgin and Child with the Virgin baring her right breast with her right hand within the initial 'O'. She is looking down to the half-figure of Bernard in the decorated margin on the right. Bernard is nimbed, wearing a brown cowl, and carries a red book in his right hand and a crozier in his left. The scroll around him has the inscription MONSTRA TE ESSE MATREM.
