From a tiny Book of Hours in Latin and French, Use of Rome, dated c. 1460 and perhaps from Tournai. Has 10 full-page and 43 small miniatures, one of which in the bottom left corner of the folio introducing the Seven Verses (f 38r - 39r) in red ink with 'les vers St bernard', has Bernard in a white cowl with a gold crozier in his left hand and an open book in his right, in which he also holds a white devil on a chain on which he tramples. The border on the right has white flowers and green leaves against a gold ground.
