A full-page miniature has Bernard nimbed and in a white tunic and black scapular standing with hands clasped in prayer and accompanied by a large group of men facing the King wearing a crown and a blue cloak decorated with fleurs de lys who is accompanied by a large group of soldiers with spears. The king is handed a small white cross by a cleric dressed in red.
