| Unfinished and rather crude miniature in an Italian (Florentine?) manuscript dated second half of the fourteenth century of Dante's Divine Comedy with a commentary by Jacopo della Lana illustrating Canto 32 of Paradiso. A nimbed Bernard with long beard is shown with his hands raised to Dante. Very similar to MA 192. One of four miniatures featuring Bernard. See also MA194-5. |
