| Unfinished and rather crude miniature in an Italian (Florentine?) manuscript dated the second half of the fourteenth century of Dante's Divine Comedy with a commentary by Jacopo della Lana illustrating Canto 31 of Paradiso. A nimbed Bernard with a long beard is shown pointing to Dante. One of four miniatures featuring Bernard. See also MA193-5. |
