Description:
A fifteenth-century Cistercian Missal with 36 historiated initials, among them within the initial I(n medio ecllesie) at the feast of Bernard, he is shown seated, nimbed and wearing a mitre and red cope with gold edging over his white alb. He has a crozier in his left hand, while he is blessing a monk kneeling before him with his right hand. Behind is a wall and a garden. The arms of a bishop appears on three folios - perhaps those of the donor.
