He has a book in his left hand and supports a strange crozier under his left arm. He has a pink cord around his right wrist at the end of which is a very large brown horned devil with a tail, white claws and with its fur tipped with gold. The setting is a rocky landscape with cliffs on both sides at the top of which is a castle on the left and a church on the right. The following folio (13v) announces the beginning of the Nine Verses in French. The 'O' Antiphons are given between the verses.
