Description:
In the lower border of a Psalter used by the Brigittine nuns in Liege ('ad usum Suecanum') a crudely-drawn three-quarter figure of Bernard, nimbed, bearded, and in a cowl ending in tassels. He has a red crozier with gold top in his right hand and a red book in his left. The scroll behind him reads: 'Sancte bernarde pater pie, ora pro nobis'.
