Description:
In a Book of Hours from c 1455 a historiated initial I(llumina domine ihsu christe oculos) has half-figure of Bernard in blueish grisaille with red and white decoration on the left and within a gold border. Bernard has a crozier in his right hand and an open book in his left. He is not nimbed. The Seven Verses are introduced in red letters: 'Iste sunt versus quos dicebat beatus Bernardus contra Diabolum...'
