Description:
In a southern French composite manuscript of Poems etc written in Provencal a miniature of a standing Bernard in a white cowl, against a blue chequered background with red lines and circles at the intersections and white circles within each square within a gold border, points upwards with his right hand to the name 'bernardus' written in red above the miniature. Bernard has 'tuft'.
