| A tiny historiated initial O (almachtich) in a Book of Hours in Dutch from c 1510 has a half-figure of Bernard in a white cowl with a red book under his right arm and a crozier in his left hand on a gold and red decorated background within the silver initial. The lower border has a rural scene with fencing and a gate within which are rabbits on grass and a pond with a swan. |
