Bernard in a dark grey cowl and his friend St Malachy in a chasuble and wearing a mitre, both bearded and both carrying croziers, are shown kneeling with their hands clasped in prayer against a blue chequered background within a rosa and gold frame and, above, nine stars in the sky.
