One of five miniatures featuring Bernard in an Emilian or Paduan manuscript of the Divine Comedy from the second quarter of the fourteenth century. This is one of two illustrations of Canto 32.The half-figures of Dante on the left and Bernard on the right in the Empyrean, both with their hands folded, pray to the crowned Virgin in a glory between busts of saints and Beatrice.
