Description:
From the end of the twelfth or beginning of the thirteenth, this is one of the earliest portrayals of Bernard, here shown within the initial B(ernardus). Red and dark brown ink drawing in an Antiphonary. He holds a crozier in the right hand, the left hand is raised with the index finger pointing.
