Description:
Originally part of larger series from the second half of the fourteenth century of which only two remain, this of Bernard and one of St John the Baptist. Bernard, bearded and tonsured, stands on a ruby-red sockel, surrounded by leaves on a dark blue background. Brown cowl, yellow crozier, and purple halo. From the Strassengel Pilgrimage Church which belonged to the Cistercian abbey of Rein.
