Description:
The choir at Hauterive was built 1320-8, and the great east window featuring scenes from the life of Christ is dated 1327. The panel on the left is of St Benedict in ruby red cowl, yellow halo, book and crozier, on the right of Bernard in white cowl, with red book, yellow crozier and red halo, both on a chequered background. Their names are inscribed above, that of Bernard 'S.BERNARDUS'.
