Description:
1505/32. Two separate scenes on two panels which probably did not originally belong together. At the top Bernard is preaching from a pulpit. The text at the bottom from the 'Vita Prima' refers to this scene. Below Abelard faces Innocent II on the left accompanied by a bishop, and to the right of Abelard the king may be seen with his barons.
