Description:
1505/32. Bernard's entry to Milan 1135. The scene is of him accompanied by Cardinal Matthew, both on horseback, receiving a rapturous ovation as the man of God, the wonder-worker, the bearer of peace. According to the 'Vita Prima', 'everyone wanted to see the man of God'. Among the many cures was the one illustrated here was that of the father who brought along his blind son to be cured.
