Description:
A composite manuscript containing Prayers in German. From the Dominican nuns of St Katherine in Nuremberg and dated the third quarter of the fifteenth century. With one hand still attached to the Cross and one detached a blood-stained Christ bends down to embrace Bernard, nimbed and in a grey cowl. His crozier is on the left. On the right is a pole with the sponge of vinegar and a spear. On the green ground is a red book and a mitre. An almost identical miniature is on f 121v (EN64). Also virtually the same as EN15 although in this example he is not nimbed,
