Description:
A second edition printed in Augsburg by Anton Sorg 4/12/1488, only a minor variation of the design as used in 1486 (see EN52). A nimbed Bernard carrying a crozier and with the arms of Clairvaux at his feet, in a landscape with a house and a church behind him, kneels before a half-figure of a crowned Virgin and Child in the sky. In a German version of the Golden Legend.
